All our pergolas are constructed in such a way that no wind is afraid of them. Depending on the type of construction, each can withstand gusts of up to 100 km/h. In doing so, it is important to secure additional elements such as screens, laths or sliding panes by opening them to allow ventilation and reduce wind pressure.
Each of the roof types used in our pergolas effectively protects against rainfall. However, it is worth bearing in mind that, in the case of rain accompanied by gusts of wind, the side walls may also prove useful. The situation is somewhat different in the case of snowfall. For example, Roman pergolas do not protect against this type of precipitation. However, it is worth paying attention to the static loads which result from loading the roof through this precipitation. Only our shelters and AYE pergola provide protection against snowfall.
We take an individual approach to each of our projects and construction types. The method of installation depends on the site and the type of structure. Depending on its size and shape, different types of foundations may be needed to anchor them.
